Our editorial team spent 350 hours developing the Insurify Quality (IQ) Score and scoring insurance companies. The IQ Score objectively analyzes and calculates a score for insurers using more than 15 crucial criteria. Criteria are weighted by importance to the consumer — factors such as customer reviews and affordability influence the score more than availability and third-party ratings.
We rate each company on a 1 to 5 scale based on five categories: financial ratings, customer satisfaction, affordability, customer support and transparency, and availability. We update ratings once a year or as more recent information becomes available.
Third-party financial ratings: We use data from AM Best, S&P, Moody's, and more to compare insurance companies’ credit and ability to pay out future claims.
Customer satisfaction: To calculate this score, Insurify analyzed more than 20,000 customer reviews across 155 car insurance companies. We also considered third-party ratings from J.D. Power, the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, and Trustpilot.
Affordability: Our data scientists analyzed more than 90 million real-time auto insurance rates from our partners across the United States, as well as available discounts, to calculate an affordability score.
Customer support and transparency: This measures coverage options, ease of claims filing, and the insurer's transparency surrounding discounts, coverages, and claims process.
Availability and reach: Insurify identified the number of states in which insurers offer coverage and company size by market share to score availability and reach.

Top J.D. Power customer satisfaction rating in Florida
They lure you in with a low cost, but every renewal sees an increase in cost. Their 'drive safe' app is a joke. I took a defensive driving course for a $75 discount, but it disappeared as soon as I finished due to a policy increase. I'm a 70-year-old with no tickets or charged accidents in over 10 years. When I questioned them, they blamed it on Georgia.

All Customers Treated the Same
Consider looking for another agency. All they seem to want is your money. If you have one accident in 25 years, they will raise your rates sky-high, even if you have no tickets and your accident only caused minor damage to a parked car. It's outrageous.

Disappointed with State Farm
State Farm seems to be lacking in customer care, which is quite disappointing. I'm currently looking for another insurance company that prioritizes their customers. Their customer service is not up to par - they don't return phone calls as promised. My accident occurred last year and it's still unresolved. I'm not satisfied with this company and I'm actively seeking alternatives. Once I find a better company, I'll be more than happy to part ways with State Farm. Plain and simple. Thank you for reading my report. Majid Dawood.

We've been with Geico for 6 years and before that, 10 years. Every once in a while, we shop around when they introduce a rate hike. Usually, after 6 months with a different carrier, they lower their rates. This year, their hike was about $900 for 6 months. We've got the same coverage we had with Geico from Progressive for $1000 less, so we've switched.

Too big and pricey
We have been pleased for over 40 years. However, when our representative sold to a large company, we were disappointed. There is no personal recognition anymore. We have always been pleased with other representatives, but not now. They are higher in price than many others and the feedback is mostly in the form of an email.

How to get the cheapest car insurance in Winter Haven
When searching for cheap car insurance rates in Winter Haven, here are some tips to keep in mind:
Bundle policies. Optimize your savings by bundling your policies and inquiring about multi-policy discounts when combining car insurance with other policies, such as renters insurance and homeowners insurance.

Car insurance requirements in Florida
To drive legally in Florida, you must have proof of personal injury protection (PIP) and property damage liability insurance. PIP covers 80% of medical expenses up to $10,000 for covered injuries, regardless of fault. Property damage liability insurance covers property damage that the policyholder causes in an accident. Continuous coverage is necessary, even if the vehicle isn’t in use.
Here are the Florida car insurance minimum limits:[2]
Coverage
Minimum Requirements
Personal injury protection
$10,000 per accident
Property damage liability
$10,000 per accident
Compared to other states, Florida’s minimum insurance requirements are extremely low. Many states require bodily injury liability in addition to property damage liability coverage. If you want more protection on the road, you should explore these optional coverages to enhance your auto insurance:
Collision coverage
Collision insurance protects your vehicle from damages resulting from collisions with other vehicles or objects, regardless of fault.
Comprehensive coverage
Comprehensive insurance ensures coverage for theft and damages from incidents other than collisions, including fire, vandalism, theft, falling objects, and natural disasters.
Gap coverage
If you have a vehicle on finance or lease, gap insurance bridges the gap between your auto loan balance and the insurance settlement in the event of a total loss.
This includes coverage for windshield and glass damage, with certain policies offering no-deductible coverage for side windows, rear windows, and glass sunroofs.
Cheapest car insurance for drivers with an incident
Keep in mind that these incidents usually lead to elevated insurance costs, as they indicate a greater possibility of future claims.[3]

In Winter Haven, car insurance rates can increase depending on the area’s population, traffic, accident rate, and vehicle theft rate.[6] While Winter Haven isn’t on the Florida coast, the state is still subject to severe coastal storms and weather conditions, which can increase claims and drive up car insurance rates.
Methodology
Insurify data scientists analyzed more than 90 million quotes served to car insurance applicants in Insurify’s proprietary database to calculate the premium averages displayed on this page. These premiums are real quotes that come directly from Insurify’s 50+ partner insurance companies in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. Quote averages represent the median price for a quote across the given coverage level, driver subset, and geographic area.
Unless otherwise specified, quoted rates reflect the average cost for drivers between 20 and 70 years old with a clean driving record and average or better credit (a credit score of 600 or higher).
Liability-only premium averages correspond to policies with the following coverage limits:
Bodily injury limits between state-minimum rates and $50,000 per person, $100,000 per accident
Property damage limits between $10,000 and $50,000
No additional coverage
Full-coverage premium averages correspond to the same bodily injury and property damage limits in addition to:
Comprehensive coverage with a $1,000 deductible
Collision coverage with a $1,000 deductible
Quotes for Allstate, Farmers, GEICO, State Farm, and USAA are estimates based on Quadrant Information Services’ database of auto insurance rates.
